1. Who we are
CoTrader is a brand of Co trader LLC, a limited liability company formed in Wyoming, USA. Registered agent: Registered Agents Inc., 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801. Contact: founder@cotrader.pro. The person who appears in our videos and posts ("the founder") speaks for the company as a software developer and trader sharing their own process, not as a financial professional.
2. Not financial advice, not a financial advisor
- Neither Co trader LLC nor the founder is registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the National Futures Association, FINRA, or any financial regulator in any country. We hold no licence to give investment advice, manage money, or operate as a broker, and we do not do any of those things.
- Nothing we publish or sell is individualised advice. We do not know your financial situation, goals or risk tolerance and we do not take them into account. Any mention of an instrument, market, prop firm, broker, risk percentage or strategy is a description of what we built or tested, not a recommendation for you.
- We never hold, manage, access or move client funds. We never connect to your broker account. Software you buy runs on your own computer or server, under your own credentials, under your control.
- Before trading real money, consult a licensed professional in your jurisdiction if you need advice. Using anything from CoTrader does not create an advisory, fiduciary or client relationship.
3. Risk disclosure
- Trading futures, options, forex, CFDs, cryptocurrencies and equities involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Leverage magnifies losses. You can lose all of the money you commit, and in some products more than that.
- Automated systems can and do lose money. They can also fail for technical reasons: internet or power outages, broker or platform downtime, data errors, slippage, wide spreads, requotes, server time changes, symbol or contract changes, and bugs. A system that worked in the past can stop working at any time without warning.
- Proprietary-firm evaluations ("challenges") have their own rules (daily loss limits, maximum drawdown, consistency rules, news restrictions, allowed tools). Those rules change. You are responsible for reading and following the rules of your firm. A failed evaluation fee is a real loss. We do not guarantee that any software passes any evaluation or that any firm allows automated trading on your account.
- You must check that trading, automated trading and the products you buy are legal and permitted in your country, with your broker and with your firm. You are responsible for your own taxes.
4. Hypothetical and backtested performance
- Every equity curve, trade count, profit factor, drawdown, win rate or dollar figure we show is from a backtest or a simulation unless it is explicitly labelled as a live or demo account result. Backtests use historical data, assumed fills, assumed commissions and no outages. Real accounts are worse than that.
- Results labelled "evaluation account", "demo" or "live" are one account over one period. They are not audited, not a track record under any regulatory standard, and not representative of what another account, period or market will do.
- Past performance, hypothetical or real, is not indicative of future results.
5. Client results, screenshots and testimonials
Screenshots, messages and stories from clients are their own individual experiences, shared with permission, with identifying details hidden. They are not typical, not verified by a third party, and not a promise that you will experience anything similar. Some clients lose money. Where a client is also an affiliate or received anything of value, we say so.
6. Videos, posts, emails and the free library
- Everything the founder publishes on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, email, Telegram, in the free AI trading library or anywhere else is education and entertainment about software and process. It is not advice, not a signal, and not an offer to manage money.
- Numbers shown on screen in videos are backtests unless the video says otherwise. Statements like "the system took the trade" describe the software's rules, not a recommendation to take that trade.
- Free tools in the library (position sizing, risk-of-ruin, journal statistics, prompts) are calculators and templates. They can contain errors. Check every output before acting on it. AI-generated prompts and outputs can be wrong.
- We may mention third-party platforms, brokers, prop firms or AI products. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them unless stated. Any affiliate link is disclosed where it appears.
7. Software and digital product terms
- You must be 18 or older.
- Licences (monthly, yearly and private builds) are personal and non-transferable: one buyer, the accounts named at setup, no sharing, resale, decompiling, re-distribution or public posting of the files or course content. Lifetime means the lifetime of the product, not of the buyer.
- Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Market data, platforms and third-party services are outside our control.
- You are responsible for installation on your own equipment, for keeping your platform running, for checking logs, for your broker and firm settings, and for monitoring every position. The software does not replace supervision.
- We may update, change or discontinue a product. Monthly subscriptions renew until cancelled; cancellation stops future charges and access ends at the end of the paid period.
- Prices, where shown, are in USD. Payments are processed by Whop or Stripe; we never see your card number.
8. Private builds and done-with-you work
- A private build turns the rules you give us into software. We implement your rules; we do not design, validate or endorse them as profitable. A backtest delivered with a build is a test of the code against history, not a forecast.
- Scope, platform, price and timeline are agreed in writing before work starts. Changes outside the agreed scope are quoted separately. Payment terms are stated in the written quote (typically part up front, part at delivery); the up-front part is earned when work begins, since specification, coding and testing proceed from that point whether or not the system is later taken live, and is not returnable after that.
- You receive the agreed deliverables (compiled files, source where agreed, presets, documentation) and a support window stated in the quote. Support means fixing defects in what we delivered, not trading guidance. Deliverables are accepted against the signed specification at handover; should a delivered system prove unable to run on your account as specified and our corrections not resolve it within fourteen days, half of the delivery payment is returned and the engagement closes, which is the full extent of any refund on a build, and requests arising from changed rules, changed preferences, a firm's rule changes or market outcomes are treated as new work rather than as defects.
- Done-with-you programmes are education and implementation help delivered in writing. They are not account management and not advice.
- Your strategy and data stay confidential. We do not resell, publish or reuse your rules. We may describe a build anonymously (market, platform, what was built) unless you ask us not to.
9. Payments and delivery
Private builds are paid in two parts as written in the quote: a deposit that starts the work and a final payment due at handover. The deposit pays for the specification, the code and the testing, which are carried out whether or not the system is later taken live, and it is therefore not returnable once work has begun; the final payment covers installation, handover and the support that follows. Delivered software is accepted on handover against the signed specification, and where a delivered system cannot be made to run on the client's account as specified within fourteen days of handover despite our corrections, half of the final payment is returned and the engagement closes; a change of rules, a change of mind, a change in a prop firm's terms or the market's results do not alter what has been delivered and are handled as new work. Digital files and licences are delivered instantly and cannot be returned, so those sales are final on delivery, with defects fixed or replaced. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and run to the end of the paid period. Questions about a payment go to founder@cotrader.pro and are answered in writing within two business days.
10. Limitation of liability and indemnity
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Co trader LLC, its members, the founder and anyone working with us are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, failed evaluations, fees, data loss, or indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, anything we publish or sell, even if advised of the possibility.
- Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific product in the 12 months before the claim.
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Co trader LLC and the founder from claims arising out of your trading, your breach of these terms, your breach of a broker's or firm's rules, or your violation of any law.
- Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Governing law, disputes, changes
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute is resolved first by good-faith discussion in writing, then by binding arbitration or in the courts located in Wyoming, on an individual basis and not as a class action, except where your local consumer law gives you a right that cannot be waived.
- If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. We may update this page; the date at the top changes when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
- These terms are the whole agreement between you and Co trader LLC regarding our products and content, together with any written quote for a private build.
12. Privacy
- What we collect: your email, the answers you give in a form (market, platform, account type, firm, strategy description for builds), order details from Whop or Stripe, and standard technical logs (IP, timestamps, user agent) kept for security and abuse prevention.
- Why: to deliver what you asked for (library access, guides, quotes, files), to send transactional email and, if you joined a list, educational emails and offers. Reply STOP or use the link in any email and you are removed.
- Who processes it: Supabase (database), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting), Whop and Stripe (payments), Google (email inbox), Telegram (internal alerts). Each receives only what it needs. We do not sell personal data.
- Retention and rights: we keep lead data until you ask us to delete it or 24 months after last contact. Email us to access, correct, export or delete your data; we complete requests within 30 days. EU/UK residents have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR; California residents under the CCPA. Lodge a complaint with your local authority if you think we got it wrong.
- Cookies and local storage: the library remembers you on your device with local storage, no account. The marketing pages may use privacy-friendly analytics and, when ads run, a Meta pixel; tracking protection blocks it without breaking anything.
- Children: our products are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
